Full Senate Set to Vote on Internet Stalking Bill

The Senate is scheduled to vot on a bill that would make it a criminal offense to stalk a child over the internet. Under the measure, a person commits the offense if they`re 21 or older and they use a computer to solicit a child under 15 to meet for sex. Furthermore, just arranging a meeting with the intent for sexual activity is a crime... even if it doesn`t take place. The crime would carry a penalty of up to ten years in prison and up to a ten thousand dollar fine.
