Northwest Arkansas Murder Trial Delayed

Updated: January 7, 2009
The murder trial of a northwest Arkansas man, charged in the death of his 10-year-old daughter, has been delayed because his public defender has resigned. Johnson County resident Lloyd Lee Holt was scheduled to go on trial this month in Clarksville, but now his manslaughter trial has been moved to July 28th. His public defender had represented him since the death of Holt`s daughter, Molly, in November 2003. She was chained by the ankles to a bed in their home that had been burned by a fire. Holt, his wife, and two other children escaped the fire. His wife, Teresa, was found guilty last May of manslaughter in their daughter`s death.
