Update: City Responds To Complaints Of No Heat

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Residents of the Rolling Hills Mobile Home Park on Bowman Road will stay in hotels for the weekend, courtesy of the city. Other residents will stay with family and friends. CenterPoint Energy shut off the gas on January 4, after property managers failed to fix the gas lines. Those managers are now installing heating equipment after being fined by the court. The city, meanwhile, is handing out food, blankets and electric heaters to the residents at the West Central Alert Center on 4200 John Barrow Road.
