The opening of the 85th General Assembly is just a few hours away. At noon the House and Senate will formally open the session with legislators accepting their seats. Governor Huckabee says the start of a new legislative session represents a chance to reflect on what we`ve done right, what we`ve done wrong and what we still need to do in Arkansas. Huckabee says when the 135 legislators leave Little Rock in the spring he hopes progress will have been made to make Arkansas a better place for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren. The Governor says no one denies there are complicated problems that must besolved with limited resources. Huckabee says his top priorities include health, highways and higher education.
