Arkansas lawmen will soon have a new weapon in the battle to bring missing children home.
The state began construction on its new Critical Incident Command Center. The center will be housed at State Police Headquarters. Its designed to put police and support staff under one roof when a Morgan Nick Amber Alert is issued.
"We`re going to have a quicker response time and we`re going to be able to bring more children home," said Colleen Nick of the Morgan Nick Foundation.
The center is being funded by state and federal money. Construction is slated for completion in March.
