Cuts May Be Coming To Russellville Police And Fire Departments

Russellville officials say they may have to make cuts within the fire and police departments because of a tight budget. Voters turned down a property tax increase that was on the ballot on Tuesday. Police Chief James Bacon says he may have to reduce his staff by ten percent. As many as five of the city`s 55 firefighters could be laid off, too.
