Fomer 4H Leader Sentenced For Rape

A former leader of the 4H youth group at
Haskell has been handed five life sentences after pleading guilty
to rape charges.
Forty-year-old Carl Collins was co-leader of the Haskell 4H
club.
Saline County Prosecutor Robert Herzfeld says Collins` victims
were five young boys, some of whom were abused repeatedly.
Herzfeld says the case came to light after a 14-year-old boy
reported that Collins had been taking nude pictures of him for
about a year.
An investigation turned up nude pictures of boys on a computer
disc found at Collins` home.
