Updated: January 7, 2009
The Clinton Presidential Library will be closed tomorrow, a week after it`s grand opening, but it will follow that with three days of free admission. Library Director David Alsobrook announced the special deal during preparations for the gala opening. He said it was a way to thank the people of Arkansas who would have had trouble getting in last weekend when a crush of international tourists filled the museum. There will be no parking on the library site, but there will be shuttle service to the front door from a garage on Second and Commerce streets and from the Peabody and Capital hotels. Visitors with special needs should call 501-244-2800 to arrange for wheelchairs at the library or for special parking.
