Health Department Flu Shots May Be Ineffective

The Health Department is asking thousands of Arkansans to get revaccinated after ruling some shots ineffective. About 2300 Arkansans received the flu shot at the State Fairgrounds on November 3. Some of those shots were stored at freezing temperatues and may be ineffective. Officials say at least 300 of those shots were effective, but they`re asking everyone to return to the Health Department as a precautionary measure. The toll-free number is (800)651-3493.
