Little Rock`s Mayor Jim Dailey said today that the city is sprucing up in preparations for thousands of visitors expected next week for the opening of the Clinton Library. Dailey said the city is picking up trash more frequently and added new garbage cans in the downtown and River Market areas. He said the Little Rock Convention Center and Chamber of Commerce both have hired workers who have done nothing but focus on the library. Why all the extra attention? Dailey said Little Rock wants to put on its best face for the expected visitors. He said with all the movers and shakers likely to attend the city could build relationships that could mean longterm progress for Arkansas.
