Updated: January 7, 2009
Hundreds of Arkansans signed up for duty Saturday to help with the Clinton Library Dedication. The volunteers showed up at the Robinson Center in Little Rock where they were given assignments ranging from tours and transportation to assisting with receptions. Organizers are expecting 30,000 people to show up for the Grand Opening on November 18. But the work will begin days in advance. "We have volunteers that are going to be working all week," said Lena Moore, director of Volunteer and Visitor Services. "Our day doesn`t start on the 18th. We start on the 8th." The Clinton Presidential Library will be the 11th library of it`s kind in the U.S.
