Two Pine Bluff mayoral candidates will go head to head in a runoff election on November 23rd.
State Senator Barbara Gullett, whose term is set to expire, will square off against Carl Redus, a businessman-turned-political upstart.
Redus received 36% of the mayoral vote with about 4,400 votes. About 2,300 pulled the lever for Gullett, giving her 19% of the vote. Incumbent Dutch King received 13%.
Alderman Jack Foster, who was convicted in September on federal extortion charges, pulled in a dismal 8%.
