President Hillary Clinton?

Updated: January 7, 2009
A Hillary Clinton presidential run has long been debated by political pundits. Speculation that she may be a candidate four years from now reached a new high today following President Bush`s re-election to the White House. But there are doubts she would be successful. Moments before John Kerry`s concession speech, announcers on at least two major networks mentioned Arkansas` former first lady as a 2008 Democratic hopeful. But others say Bill Clinton`s steady popularity and continued ability to resonate with voters nationwide would NOT transfer to his wife, especially in state`s that Kerry lost. And University of Arkansas political science professor Janine Parry says despite the years she lived in the state, the New York senator is no longer considered a southerner.
