As the last hours of the 2004 presidential campaign wind down, workers and volunteers for the major party candidates turn their attention to getting out the vote.
Up until the last few weeks, most polls showed the President with a comfortable lead in Arkansas. Since then, the race has narrowed and Democrats have poured more resources into the state.
With a race so close and the stakes so high, Democrats and Republicans spent a rainy Monday making phone calls to would-be voters and putting together last-minute campaign signs.
Both sides say they`re confident about the election outcome but that they aren`t leaving anything to chance.
