Teenager Shot Tuesday Dies In Hospital

Little Rock police say that a 14 year old who was shot in the head on Tuesday died Wednesday from the wound. Police said that Barron Smith was riding in a car with five other teenagers when the shooting occurred. One other boy was injured in the shooting. He was treated and released from Baptist Hospital. The other three teenagers in the car were not hurt. Police said the boys were heading home at the time of the shooting and took a short cut through an area of southwest Little Rock. No arrest has been made.
