The schedule for former president Bill Clinton is taking shape as his foundation prepares to open his library and museum in Littne Rock next month. Clinton will be in Little Rock at least two days before the November 18th opening. Among his tasks on November 16th will be swearing in the first batch of young volunteers for "City Year Little Rock." City Year is a program in 15 cities to promote public service among young people. Clinton will give 40 Little Rock volunteers their oath of service at Little Rock`s Central High School November 16th. The Little Rock program places 17 to 24 year olds in eight city schools to teach the importance of civic involvement. Clinton foundation executive director, Stephanie Streett, says the partnership was a natural because of Clinton`s interest in engaging volunteer public service. The foundation helped open the first graduate school of public service in Clinton`s name and as president he founded the national Americorps Program. It was based partially on City Year and City Year is now funded by Americorps.
