Huckabee Signs Disaster Declaration

Governor Huckabee has signed an emergency declaration for Prairie, Pulaski and Saline counties to help people get assistance following Monday`s tornadoes. Huckabee authorized 200,000 dollars to provide relief. The
Department of Emergency Management will administer the funds, which will be available to help individuals and communities. Huckabee signed the declaration Wednesday morning. Four tornadoes crossed central Arkansas during a wave a storms Monday morning.
The worst damage was in Saline County, but Pulaski, Prairie and Lonoke counties also sustained damage.
