A literary teacher is $25,000 richer after becoming the latest recipient of the 2004 Miken Award. Tammy Easterday was given the award Thursday morning in a crowded gym at Langston Magnet School in Hot Springs. Milken officials say Easterday received the award because of the innovative way she teachers her students. Easterday will attend the annual Milken dinner in Los Angeles slated for Spring.
