Lonoke Deputies On Lookout For Burglars

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Lonoke County deputies are hiding out in homes and businesses in anticipation for burglars. The move comes after a rash of burglaries hit the county in the past two weeks. Money, guns, televisions and cameras were taken, prompting Sheriff Jim Roberson to place his men inside the homes and businesses. "We`re going to make a difference, we`re going to stop it. Somebody`s going to bite the bullet," said Roberson. Nine of the 14 burglaries happened in Butlerville.
