Beatles memorabilia stolen in Little Rock

George Harrison`s sister had pictures of the late Beatles great stolen from her car in downtown Little Rock while she was donating memorabilia to the Clinton Presidential Library. Lou Harrison had driven from her southern Illinois home to Little Rock and had parked her car on a city street several blocks from the library construction site. She had taken most of the memorabilia to a storage facility nearby when she returned to her car and found the window smashed in and some of her brother`s items missing. Library officials say it was a random act of theft and has nothing to do with the security of the library itself. It is scheduled to open November 18th. Lou Harrison said she was donating the items because she feels Bill Clinton was "the Beatle president." She thought the Clinton Library provided the best venue for Beatles fans to see photos, lyric sheets and the like. She is asking that all Beatles fans monitor the internet for possible leads to the stolen merchandise. Lou Harrison was also coming to Arkansas to appear at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway with liberal filmmaker Michael Moore.
