Supreme Court asked to make prompt Nader decision

The Secretary of State`s office asked the Arkansas state supreme court today to make their decision concerning Ralph Nader by Friday morning. A lower court ruled Nader`s name should be taken off the Arkansas ballot because petitions were circulated incorrectly. The populist party is now appealing. The Secretary of State`s office says ballots need to be printed soon to make the state`s October 8th deadline.
