Tyson Foods Shipping Chicken To Hurricane Victims

Tyson Foods the largest meat company in the world is continuing its shipments of food to those affected by the hurricanes. Since Hurricane Ivan hit two weeks ago, the company has donated 87 thousand pounds of chicken, ham and lunch meats to relief agencies for distribution in Florida, Alabama, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The company says the donations, combined with previous shipments have provided about 750 thousand meals to families and relief workers. The contributions are valued at more than 340 thousand dollars.
