Board Recommends Clemecy For Convicted Murderer

The state parole board is recommending that a
man who has served eight years of a 40-year prison sentence for a
murder conviction be granted clemency.
The state Post Prison Transfer Board`s three-to-two vote sends
the recommendation on to Governor Mike Huckabee. He`ll review of
the clemency request from Michael Ryan Webb Junior.
The 31-year-old Webb was convicted of first-degree murder in the
December 18th, 1993, shooting death of 17-year-old Jason Hatcher on
the parking lot of a Sherwood grocery store.
Webb was sentenced in 1996 on the murder conviction, plus six
years in prison on a first-degree battery conviction in the same
case.
