Federal authorities are investigating a false threat that had them searching the stadium during Saturday`s Arkansas-Texas football game before they decided there was nothing to it. The university says that during the game at about 9:45 p.m. the campus police received a suspicious message of a potential threat at a specific location in the stadium. As a precaution, agents with the FBI, the Springdale Bomb Squad, the Bentonville Police Department, the Arkansas State Police, and the campus police conducted a detailed search of the location, but found nothing suspicious. The FBI and campus police continue to investigate the origin of the message. More than 75 thousand people attended the game. Arkansas lost 22 to 20.
