Saline county sheriff claims he`s the target of investigation.

THE SHERIFF OF SALINE COUNTY BELIEVES HE`S BEEN INVESTIGATED FOR POSSIBLE PERJURY CHARGES. SHERIFF PHIL MASK TELLS KARK THAT 2 OF HIS DEPUTIES WERE ISSUED A SUBPEONA LAST WEEK. HE BELIEVES ITS BECAUSE HE TESTIFIED DURING THE TRIAL OF JOHN BROWN LAST WEEK... THE FORMER POLICE WHO WAS FOUND GUILTY OF FONDELING A 15 YEAR OLD. THE SHERIFF TESTIFIED THAT THE GIRL HAD A SMIRK ON HER FACE AND THAT HER PARENTS WERE LAUGHING DURING THE INITIAL REPORT. PROSECUTOR ROBERT HERZFELD WILL NEITHER CONFIRM OR DENY THAT SUCH AN INVESTIGATION IS TAKING PLACE.
