Updated: January 7, 2009
Former prosecutor TJ Hively had been set to be sentenced Wednesday on convictions of federal racketeering and fraud, but a continuation request has pushed the date back to September 16th. Hively, who is from Batesville, was tried with two co-defendants earlier this year and was found guilty of one count of racketeering and four counts of mail fraud. His former law partner, Wesley John "Butch" Ketz, was convicted of racketeering and mail fraud. Ketz will be sentenced on September 17th, a day after Hively. Both sentencings will take place in U.S. District Judge George Howard Junior`s courtroom.
