Miss Arkansas Lacy Fleming is packing
her bags and getting ready to leave for the Miss America pageant. Fleming flies to Washington DC on Wednesday, where competitors will meet up before the pageant begins in Atlantic City, New
Jersey, from September 13th through the 18th. Fleming spent most of Sunday packing at her parents` home on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs. She has 49 separate outfits, which she says she wants packed so that they are organized
Fleming says she`s not nervous yet, but suspects she will be once she gets on the plane. She says she`s trying to stay calm the best way she can. Fleming was crowned Miss Arkansas in Hot Springs on June 26th.
