Four people drowned on the Cache River this weekend. Searchers have found the bodies... two early this morning and two yesterday. Arkansas State Police trooper Philip Hydron said it appears two couples were fishing and their boat capsized. Hydron said alcohol is not suspected in the accident. The victims are 45 year old Bobby Joe Meredith and his 39 year old wife Angie Fay Meredith of McCrory and their daughter 22 year old Angela Cameron and her husband 25 year old Peter Cameron of Vandale. Hydron said three of the bodies were found in the water just north of the Highway 260 bridge and the one body just south of the bridge. The boat was found capsized about a half mile north of the bridge. Police used helicopters, divers and search dogs to find the family. Officials say the river is about 16 feet deep and that only one of the four people in the boat knew how to swim and none of them were wearing life jackets.
