The Logan County public defender claims in a lawsuit that County Sheriff Mark Limbird pushed him into a wall and threatened him. Public Defender Seth Irwin, who lives at Russellville, filed the suit over an incident last week. Irwin claims the sheriff forcibly kept him from entering a room where a hearing was being conducted on August 19th. He is seeking $25,000 dollars in damages. Irwin claims Limbird used his forearm to push Irwin out of the doorway of a room in the county courthouse in Paris, where a defendant was entering a plea in a criminal case. The suit claims Limbird threatened Irwin. Limbird directed all questions to the county`s attorney, Ralph Ohm of Hot Springs. Ohm did not return a telephone call.
