A California-based flu maker has delayed shipment of its flu vaccines after some doses were contaminated. California-based Chiron Corp. made the discovery at the company`s Liverpool, England factory. Chiron says about 1 million vaccines were shipped but none have reached the public. St. Vincent receives vaccines from Chiron and is expecting a shipment in the fall. The health department hasn`t ordered any doses from Chiron, but says it will have 200,000 vaccines on hand for this year`s flu season.
