Entergy Arkansas workers who are helping restore power in hurricane-wrecked Florida will stay a while longer. The electric utility said today that Florida Power and Light has asked Arkansas and Mississippi crews to move into the most heavily damaged areas, including Punta Gorda, which was almost leveled by Hurricane Charley. The workers were supposed to head home yesterday or today. So far they have helped rebuild power systems in the Orlando area. The Arkansas team is staying in the Brandon, Florida, area and are bused back and forth to Port Charlotte daily. They are expecting to be finished by Sunday.
