West Memphis police caught a man who escaped from the Crittenden County jail on Sunday. 23 year old Corey Andre Mosley was due to appear in court this week for a trial on capital murder, aggravated robbery and kidnapping charges. Jail administrator Reginald Abrams said Mosley was found to have escaped from the lockup through a hole in the roof of the jail. Mosley was to go on trial for the April 2003 slaying of Althia Wheeler, who was found in West Memphis, in the trunk of her burning car. Officers started looking for Mosley early this morning. Mosley had been in the state prison at Brickeys on a parole violation while he was awaiting trial.
