A Hot Springs teenager who has lymphoma is traveling to Greece to watch Mia Hamm play soccer in the Olympics. Sixteen-year-old Lindsay Clingenpeel, a junior at Lakeside High School, says she has played soccer since she was five and her dream was to see Mia Hamm. The Make-A-Wish foundation contacted her yesterday to let her know the trip was on. When Lindsay found out she received a limo ride and dinner with her soccer teammates, friends and family. She will travel with her parents and a friend next Wednesday for an eight-night trip to Athens and Thessaloniki, where they will watch the US Women`s Soccer Team play. Clingenpeel`s mother said the teenager`s lymphoma is in remission, her prognosis is excellent, and she receives her final chemotherapy treatment the day before she leaves for Greece.
