breaking news
Lines are long at the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock for Bill Clinton`s booksigning. Friday morning, about 200 people are sitting on lawn chairs and blankets under overhangs at the center, clutching copies of the former president`s autobiography. The actual booksigning runs from 12:30 until one thousandth signature is written. The line stretches down the length of the convention center. Thursday, Clinton signed books in the small Delta town of
Blytheville at an independent bookstore. About one thousand people
greeted him there and stood in line in the hot sun throughout the day to meet him and have him sign their books. Friday`s signing is the second of three Arkansas events. Clinton is scheduled to sign books tomorrow in Fayetteville.
