KARK 4 "Tools for Schools" Drive

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: August 4, 2011
KARK 4 is sponsoring a back to school supplies drive we're calling "Tools for Schools."

On Tuesday (August 9), our crews will be out in front of the Walmart store in the Shackleford
Crossing shopping center just off I-430 collecting everything from backpacks to pencils for students
who need help getting outfitted for the new school year.

"Tools for Schools" is part of the station's 4 the Greater Good program.

All school supplies collected will be distributed to the seven Boys and Girls Club locations
throughout Central Arkansas that serve more than 10-thousand children.

The original Landers and the University of Phoenix are co-sponsors of the KARK 4 "Tools for Schools" supplies drive.
