Man Killed While Repairing Boat

Officials say a 70-year-old man died after he was burned while repairing the engine of his boat on the White River. Oliver Jackson was working on the motor when a spark triggered flames that burned him on his head, arms and legs. His wife told authorities the two jumped from the boat into the river. A passing boater came to their aid, but Jackson had died. Investigators have ruled the death an accident.
