Arkansas Boy Recovers From Shark Attack

A seven-year-old Arkansas boy is recovering from severe foot injuries he received in an apparent shark attack at Gulf Shores, Alabama. Trenton Martin of Oden underwent surgery for a severed artery and tendons his right foot and numerous deep cuts. The boy was in waist-deep water Friday afternoon, looking for shells with his grandfather when he felt something bump him about six times. Trenton`s mother says the shark bit her son once, let go and then bit him a second time, shaking and pulling his foot. The family plans to return home to Arkansas tomorrow.
