Saline County Deputies arrested a Haskell man in connection with a string of commercial and residential burglaries.
Deputies say 23-year old Derrick Pike stole knives, rifles, video game systems and a dvd player from several homes and businesses in Saline and Pulaski Counties.
Among the items discovered in Pike`s possession was a mutilated baby Jesus doll stolen from the First United Methodist Church in Benton.
"Burglarizing a church is one of the most unthinkable crimes you could ever do," said Phil Mask, Saline County Sheriff.
Mask says Pike belong to a Goth music group and tried to recruit other children to participate in his burglary ring as well as his satanic practices.
Pike has been charged with 5 counts burglaries in Pulaski and Saline Counties. He`s slated to appear in court on July 14th.
