Dad In Iraq Calls Just In Time

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Specialist Lang Doster of Magnolia managed to call from Iraq a few minutes after his son was born. Doster`s wife, Marianne, had the baby at about one in the afternoon on Wednesday. Doster called a few minutes later and was able to hear the cries of his new baby boy, Reagan Lang Doster. Marianne wasn`t alone for the birth, she was accompanied by her mother and sister and a near-life-size photo of her husband. Marianne said Lang may get to come home on leave near the end of the month and she`s keeping her fingers crossed. Reagan is the Doster`s first child. Doster is a National Guardsman with Magnolia-based Delta Company and is stationed near Baghdad.
