By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The smoking ban set to start Sunday at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has been delayed until Tuesday. Officials at the hospital said that they postponed the start of the ban because of the holiday weekend. Smoking is banned inside of the hospital, but is permitted at certain areas outside. The ban would prohibit smoking on all campus property and all U-A-M-S affiliates, including its seven Area Health Education Centers and seven Centers on Aging statewide.
