Sentencing Delayed For Man Convicted Of Identity Theft And Document Fraud

A federal judge has delayed sentencing for a
Yemeni man for the second time in two weeks.
US District Judge Bill Wilson delayed the sentencing of
39-year-old Nasser Ameri until August Sixth. Ameri was convicted in
January of identity theft and document fraud.
Jurors found Ameri guilty on 18 of 103 counts related to false
drivers licenses and identification cards found at his Little Rock
apartment. He had lived in Little Rock for 17 years.
Ameri originally told police he was a terrorist, but
investigators could find no link between him a terror groups.
