Croc Found In Arkansas Waters

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A two-and-a-half-foot-long caiman crocodile is headed to the Little Rock Zoo after two Garfield teens caught it while fishing in a small pond. Andrew Puckett and Jayson Hawthorne were fishing on Friday when they reeled in the crocodile. A neighbor called a Benton County game and fish officer who took the reptile to a hatchery in Centerton yesterday and arranged it to eventually go to the Little Rock Zoo. The pond the teens were fishing in does not connect with any streams or rivers and officials don`t know how the crocodile came to be in the water.
