By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A new study shows more African-Americans are choosing to increase their personal assets. A survey conducted by Ariel Mutual Funds and Charles Schwab shows the number of Black investors climbed to 68% this year from 61% in 2003. Economists say the increase is attributed to Blacks having more disposable income after being placed in high-paying positions. The survey also found that 41% of Blacks who don`t own stocks are likely to invest next year.
