Arkansas Fishing Report: July 29 - 31

It's a ten- to eleven inch plastic worm. Any color's working right now on just about every lake in the state.
This week's hot spot is Lake Ouachita. By far, they're catching some really good fish in the brush piles at 18 to 25 foot. But don't go up there thinking you need some light line. You need between 20- to 30-pound flourocarbin fishing line, seven- to seven and a half foot heavy rod and anywhere between a ten- to 14 inch plastic worm.
Lake Conway, the brim are on their beds and they're catching 50 a day.
Greers Ferry right now, all you need to do is look for bait. Find the bait and you'll find the bass.
Lake Monticello, they're also catching those big fish down there in their brush piles about 13- to 15 foot on those big worms.
Remember our Fish for the Fallen tournament October 29. The night before at 6:00, we're going to have hamburgers by Hoggs Meat Shop and hot dogs by Redneck Remedy. We're going to have a good time.
I'll see you next week. Have a good time out there fishing.
