4 Arkansans Injured In Baghdad Mortar Attack

Four members of a Magnolia-based National Guard company are among those wounded in a Baghdad mortar attack. Army officials say the injuries to the four members of Delta Company, Third Battalion, 153rd Infantry are NOT life threatening. The attack occurred Monday. The injured were identified as Staff Sergeant Arthur "Art" Stokenbury, Staff Sergeant Thomas Labit, Specialist Pete Hildreth and Specialist Ash Ritchie. Hildreth and Ritchie were treated for minor wounds received during the early morning attack and released. Stokenbury and Labit sustained more serious wounds. Another soldier was killed in the attack and four others were injured.
