Kerry Campaign Adds Arkansas Director

Senator John Kerry`s presidential campaign today named Democratic political veteran Rodney Shelton as its state director in Arkansas. Shelton is a native Arkansan who served as North Carolina director for former Vice President Al Gore`s campaign in 2000. He also was an assistant regional director for Bill Clinton`s re-election campaign in 1996. He was campaign director for Nia Gills` US Senate campaign in New Jersey and has served in the federal departments of Transportation and Veteran Affairs. Shelton is a Navy veteran who attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and Philander Smith College in Little Rock.
