State Police Investigate Deputy-Involved Fatal Shooting

Arkansas State Police are investigating the death of a White Hall man at the hands of Jefferson County deputies. 36-year old Howard Tedder fled a mobile home after deputies were call out on a domestic disturbance Thursday night, according to ASP. Deputies say Tedder emerged from the woods after tense negotiations and made a sudden gesture, indicating he had a weapon. Deputies shot him dead. Findings of the ongoing investigation will be turned over to the Jefferson County Prosecutor Steve Dalyryple upon its completion.
