Police say a man who was cooking methamphetamine in his kitchen was fatally shot when he pointed a gun at a police officer during a raid. Jimmie Wayne Johnson allegedly was operating the largest meth lab ever found in North Little Rock when he was killed Monday. Investigator John Nannen, who has worked with the department for six years, was placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation of the shooting. Police also arrested Billie Araujo and James Traylor at the scene. They have been charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, maintaining a drug premise and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were in the Pulaski County jail today on a $76,500 bond.
