Arkansas Bar Association Has A New Leader

The Arkansas Bar Association has a new leader. Frederick Ursery was sworn in as organization president at the association`s annual meeting, held today in Hot Springs. He is a senior partner in the Little Rock law firm of Friday, Eldredge and Clark. Ursery has been an active member of legal organizations. He has served as state chair and fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, president of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Pulaski County Bar Association. In 1996, he won the Arkansas Bar Association`s outstanding lawyer award. Ursery has also served as president of the Arkansas-Little Rock History Institute and the Old State House Museum Associates.
