A Pine Bluff man seen leaving a shooting scene has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a woman. Police say 37-year-old Alisa Taggart was found dead Thursday night in a Pine Bluff home after police responded to a disturbance call from neighbors. Jefferson County Prosecutor Steve Dalrymple has charged 24-year-old Richard Shelton in Taggart`s death. Shelton also was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Police said a witness reported seeing Shelton leave the shooting scene on a bicycle. He was arrested later that night. Police said they recovered a handgun they believe was discarded by Shelton as they were attempting to arrest him. Shelton is being held at the Jefferson County Detention Center on a 100-thousand dollar secured bond.
